A situational analysis also includes a partners audit (Figure 1.2) to identify intermediaries, affiliates and strategic alliances (PR Smith, 2022, p.104). Balenciaga primarily co-brands with other fashion retailers (Spinks, 2022) to release unique products. However, certain Balenciaga partnerships involve more unexpected collaborations (Queue-It, 2023) with varying levels of success (Padia, 2022).
